The Amphibian Heart

a screenplay by Alan Black

The Amphibian Heart plays with ideas of love.

When a divorced man falls in love with a woman who’s a dead-ringer for one of his grown daughters,

nearly everyone has a problem with the relationship but for the two people who are simply in love.

While some may initially recoil at the subject matter,

the script is provocative in the best and most thoughtful way.

Nothing is played for titillation.

The story deals with the skin-deep qualities of some people’s views of love.
